SYSPRO, a leading, worldwide provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, announced today an upcoming major new release of SYSPRO ERP software. SYSPRO 6.1 represents a quantum leap forward, “simplifying success” with new architecture and modules, feature sets, workflow and customization capabilities. This newest SYSPRO release fully leverages SYSPRO’s knowledge of the ERP needs of the mid-market, having successfully served the segment for more than 30 years. SYSPRO 6.1 enables mid-market manufacturers and distributors to gain all the benefits of leading-edge ERP software even though they may possess limited resources and skills.
According to SYSPRO CEO Phil Duff, “SYSPRO 6.1, which contains over a thousand new customer-requested features and functions, continues our success in matching our software development with industry trends and customer needs, including ‘green orientation.’ It exemplifies SYSPRO’s long standing policy of seeking customer input at every level to ensure that our software enhancements maximize the customers’ competitive advantages in their respective markets. This constant focus on the customer is a key reason why SYSPRO customer retention is among the highest in the industry.
“This upcoming release contains a strong focus on corporate governance and sustainability and also reflects the importance of Lean as evidenced in our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Business Processes Modeling (BPM) solutions. Version 6.1 greatly enhances the user experience, contributing to enormous gains in overall productivity.”
With the range of functionality built into the product and accessible via a single SYSPRO portal, companies need never go outside of SYSPRO to gain increased operational effectiveness. With SYSPRO 6.1, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) can easily be achieved and entire processes can be automated, greatly enhancing productivity at all levels.
SYSPRO 6.1 encourages fiscal responsibility with improved Enterprise Performance Management in the form of enhanced Executive Dashboards and Analytics, Boardroom Quality Reporting plus Cash Flow Reporting and Forecasting. These features provide real-time, at-a-glance visibility of all aspects of the organization, enabling strategic and proactive decisions.
SYSPRO 6.1 also elevates Business Process Management to a new level with the introduction of SYSPRO Enterprise Analysis Modelling, Monitoring and Management (SEAM3), which combines SYSPRO Workflow Services, SYSPRO Process Modelling and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). SEAM3 produces a rapid, high ERP ROI by elevating operational efficiencies to new levels through the consideration of a company’s unique business process requirements and by automatically aligning and re-energizing them during the ERP implementation phase and by enabling future business process remodelling necessitated by changing market conditions.
In his last major speech as Microsoft CEO, Bill Gates stated, “People are very interested in a simpler way of navigating information…” SYSPRO 6.1 greatly simplifies information navigation, expanding on the innovative, highly configurable SYSPRO Fluid Interface (FI) that allows users to easily modify the behavior of any SYSPRO application to gain required information and extend business functionality. The new FI is designed to adapt and change as requirements evolve, giving the user complete freedom to view any required information within any SYSPRO application without the need for programming skills. In addition, SYSPRO Power Tailoring allows users to modify the behavior of any SYSPRO application and to add business functionality without requiring development skills. SYSPRO 6.1 also allows users to present information in a graphical and aesthetically-pleasing approach. The end result is a highly personalized, configurable system designed to adapt and change as requirements evolve.
SYSPRO 6.1 includes the final phase of the Inventory Optimization Suite, the Inventory Optimizer. The embedded Optimizer is unique in a mid-size ERP system, and along with improved Warehouse and Quality Management functionality provides the ability for companies to recover from the economic downturn as leaner, more efficient organizations.
Brian Stein, CEO, SYSPRO USA, notes, “SYSPRO 6.1 is one of the most comprehensive, single source and pragmatic ERP solutions on the market. It gives mid-market manufacturers and distributors a fully integrated solution that enables greater insight into their operations with all the tools needed to successfully compete. Our single product DNA also means that all SYSPRO upgrades are seamless.”
